Watermark on the Fringe: “Blue Star presents: VarieTEASE… Spellbound”

Spellbound was a captivating performance inspired by Orlando’s famous Blue Star’s battle with Post Traumatic Stress disorder and her journey with EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) therapy.

No detail was too small for this cast, and costumes were no exception. Glittery, feathered, clowns donned the stage for “Spellbound’s” second performance in Fringefest 2018.

Each dancer in VarieTEASE was as graceful as they were powerful in this colorful contemporary ballet piece. The movements were clean and the performers facials depicted nearly every emotion perfectly. The dreamy and surreal visuals in “Spellbound” made it seem as though time had been suspended.

“Blue Star presents: VarieTEASE… Spellbound” plays in the Black Venue through May 27. For more information visit
